Tongham, Dezember 2011 Dear vision Customers,
Welcome to the Christmas issue of news@imaging, a shorter edition just to
highlight one or two new products that were released at the VISION show in
Stuttgart in November, products like the DALSA Boa Pro, IDS uEye CP, AVT's
GX3300 and the latest improvements to our Common Vision Blox software. However,
the main news we wanted to highlight was our very own 3D Technology Day that
will be held at Mercedes-Benz World on the 29th February. Over the last few
years 3D-imaging has really grown; not only as far as the acquisition of 3D
images is concerned, but also in the area of algorithms for evaluation of the
images. More details will follow in January.

 | 3D Technology Day
We would like to invite you to a 3D technology day, the first event in the UK
from our newly formed European Imaging Academy, providing industry leading
training in machine vision. This full day event will take place at the
Mercedes-Benz World on February 29, 2012.
The event is aimed to provide a comprehensive overview about the current state
of 3D-technology, the markets and possible applications.
