Record-breaking year for STEMMER IMAGING

STEMMER IMAGING UK Director David Hearn, said: "These are superb results. The Group performance has exceeded the growth figure of around 35% for the industry in Europe recently announced by the European Machine Vision Association, meaning that we have increased our overall market share. We are also delighted with the UK figures, which show that it is possible to be very successful even in a generally cautious economy".
The most complete range of industrial vision components
"I believe that our success can be attributed to a number of factors," he continued. "We have worked hard to reinforce our reputation for reliability in the provision of imaging technology and to secure orders for many new projects and applications in various markets. We have carefully selected exciting new products from the world's leading manufacturers to ensure we continue to offer the most complete range of industrial vision components in Europe. In addition, the Group's inherent financial stability has allowed us to not only expand our staff base but also to improve our infrastructure with investments in a logistics centre, a new training centre and other new facilities, including a restructured website."
New Technical Centre
In the UK, STEMMER IMAGING has created a new Technical Centre at its Tongham offices. The adjoining building has been acquired and has been converted into a purpose-built area to house the Technical team. This new facility includes a number of individual development workstation areas and provides significantly improved space and facilities to develop solutions to customers' problems as well as offering comfortable demonstration facilities.
STEMMER IMAGING has been leading the machine vision market since 1987. It is Europe's largest technology provider in this field. In 1997 STEMMER IMAGING presented Common Vision Blox (CVB), a powerful programming library for fast and reliable development and implementation of vision solutions, which has been deployed successfully throughout the world in more than 40,000 imaging applications in various industries.
