While ideally suited to a wide-range of industrial vision applications including semiconductor, electronics, food, packaging and other manufacturing and assembly processes, the Genie TS is also the first machine vision camera platform engineered for Intelligent Traffic/Transportation Systems (ITS) applications. The camera boasts the widest, most powerful feature set ever found in a GigE industrial vision camera.
The Genie TS provides a remarkable dynamic range which is particularly important in optimising image capture from sun-to-shade in traffic applications. Integrated features such as motorised industrial lens control with image-to-image aperture, zoom and focus functionality, auto iris, image compression, image transfer-on-demand, and both RS-485 and RS-232 ports, are all built into a tough compact body of only 49 x 49 x 54 mm. A GigE Vision compliant, direct to PC, machine vision interface makes high speed data transfer and multi-camera networks easy to deploy.
The first three industrial cameras of this series are the Genie TS-M4096, with 4096 x 3072 pixels running at 10 frames per second; the Genie TS-M3500 with 3520 x 2200 pixels and 15 frames per second and the Genie TS-M2500 with 2560 x 2048 pixels and 24 frames per second.
