Active Silicon Phoenix HDSDI - Digital High-Speed Frame Grabber

The Phoenix HDSDI from Active Silicon is a family of high speed digital frame grabbers especially suited to medical or broadcasting applications.

The PCI Express boards acquire digital data from a variety of uncompressed 8-bit and 10-bit SDI and HD-/SDI sources. The boards capture standard definition SDI-sources of 270 Mbits/s up to 540 Mbit/s, as well as high definition HD-/SDI sources with data rates up to 1.484 Gbit/s. In the PCI Express x1 version approx. 180 Mbyte/s can be transferred into the PC rising to almost 700 Mbyte/s for the PCI Express x4 version. The acquired image data can be mapped into a suitable format and be transferred directly to a graphics display or be saved and processed.

Various I/Os enable easy interfacing and communication.

Active Silicon's SDK or the software library CVB from STEMMER IMAGING are optionally available allowing rapid system development and integration.
