Moderate growth in anniversary year

10 Jul 2012

After the record results in our financial year 2010/2011, sales expectations for the year ending 30 June 2012 were intentionally modest. However in reality, business development continued to show further growth.

In July 2011 our head office in Germany was able to report exceptional turnover exceeding 36 million euros, equating to an increase of 60 per cent over the preceding year. Both the UK and the Swiss subsidiaries of STEMMER IMAGING, were also able to exceed target. Increasing turnover for the financial year 2011/12 which ended on 30 June 2012 seemed improbable, but compared with forecast, the actual Group turnover was higher than that of last year and thus exceeded our expectations considerably.

Our success is driven by the partnership we have with you our customers. With growth in these difficult times we trust is an indicator that you value our service, performance and products as your reliable partner for all aspects of imaging & machine vision technologies.

We have made a number of improvements over the past few months; in particular we have expanded our head office infrastructure with a significant increase in staffing, meaning we are well positioned for the future.

Our European Imaging Academy is now well established and allows our customers to develop and increase their imaging and machine vision know-how with targeted training.

Today, we would like to announce that the next edition of our comprehensive publication, "The Imaging and Machine Vision Handbook" will be available in a few months. We will be sending you this 400 page technology guide around the end of November.
