The second printed edition of our “Imaging and Vision Handbook” has become firmly entrenched with users as a valuable dictionary for the technical fundamentals in all areas of imaging and machine vision. Now the electronic versions of this handbook are available via the Apple iBookstore in both English and German.

This e-version of the roughly 450-page book allows a very comfortable search for specialist terms as well as a direct link from the various product overviews to the products themselves and back. Easy browsing and zooming of all contents familiar to tablet users, together with a number of other features, allows intuitive use of this useful document.

Basic imaging and machine vision technologies

Just like the printed version of the handbook one third of the e-version explains in detail different basic technologies related to illumination, lenses, cameras, image acquisition, software, cabling and systems as well as the functionality of important accessories. Numerous graphics illustrate the technological descriptions, helping to make the STEMMER IMAGING handbook an indispensable reference guide for all users of this technology. Clearly arranged tables are useful for interested persons in selecting the best components for the respective application. In the product section, the reader is given comprehensive technical data to facilitate their choices. Further, the experienced experts at STEMMER IMAGING are at your disposal to help with any further questions.
