In summer 2011 the company broke the annual sales mark of 50 million euros for the very first time. According to STEMMER IMAGING CEO Christof Zollitsch, there are several reasons for the increase in annual turnover to more than 80 million euros in less than 5 years: „On the one hand, machine vision technology has become well established in the market and is being used in an increasing number of industries. On the other hand, thanks to our comprehensive product and service portfolio we were able to convince numerous customers throughout Europe to closely cooperate with STEMMER IMAGING as a reliable partner. Our company’s positive development as well as the constant growth of many of our customers prove that our offer satisfies the requirements of many machine vision users.“
Mr Zollitsch particularly points out the company’s constant growth of over 10% considering the total turnover of all European subsidiairies within the 12 months from autumn 2013, in some cases even more than 20% compared with the previous year’s period. STEMMER IMAGING closed the 2015 calendar year with a sales increase of more than 17% compared to 2014.
In 2015, the company’s German headquarters continued to contribute the biggest share with around 56% of the total turnover. The United Kingdom takes second place with around 16%, ahead of France with around 11%.
The new subsidiairies in Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Poland show the same positive trend. “These locations repeat what we have been experiencing in the UK, France, Switzerland and the Netherlands: The customers benefit considerably from the focused consulting service offered by our local sales teams,“ states Christof Zollitsch.
According to Mr Zollitsch, the trustful cooperation between STEMMER IMAGING and their customers has become evident in the large number of participants visiting our Vision Technology Forums in Germany, France and the Netherlands in the autumn of 2015: „More than 750 visitors took the opportunity to gain more knowledge about the latest technologies and developments in imaging and machine vision and rated these events as an excellent platform. In March 2016, we will continue with the forums in the UK and Sweden.“
STEMMER IMAGING has been leading the machine vision market since 1987. It is Europe's largest technology provider in this field. In 1997 STEMMER IMAGING presented Common Vision Blox (CVB), a powerful programming library for fast and reliable development and implementation of vision solutions, which has been deployed successfully throughout the world in more than 40,000 imaging applications in various industries.
