“I am very happy that the events of the European Imaging Academy like the Vision Technology Forum and various training opportunities have been very successful in Sweden. The Northern European countries have clearly suffered from a lack of such dedicated machine vision events. Therefore, we have decided to also provide training at our Danish office to better meet the requirements of our local customers and reduce travel expenses for them”, explains Peter Trollsås, Managing Director of STEMMER IMAGING Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Poland.
The first training events at the STEMMER IMAGING office in Copenhagen will not only cover various smart machine vision products like the Teledyne DALSA Boa - 28/09/2016 and the LMI 3D Gocator sensors - 29/09/2016 but also an introduction to the basics of machine vision - 25-26/10/2016. The latter is very popular throughout Germany, the UK, the Netherlands and Sweden where the European Imaging Academy is already well-established.
“We are glad to have support from Lars Fermum from Germany who is the most experienced trainer of the European Imaging Academy and who will hold the first training sessions in our Copenhagen office”, Mick Pelby, Sales Manager Vision Solutions at STEMMER IMAGING Denmark, points out. “The only drawback is that Lars doesn’t speak Danish”, Pelby continues chuckling. “So our plan is to absorb all of his knowledge as fast as we can so that we will be able to offer the training in both English and Danish at a later stage.”
But this is not the entire truth: Some training will be held in Danish right from the start. Have a look at the events section of our website to get further information.
