The JAI Apex Series of 3CMOS prism-based colour area scan cameras has been expanded with 5 new models. The range now features 3.2 Mpixel and 1.6 Mpixel versions, with PMCL, USB3 Vision, and GigE Vision interfaces available in each resolution.

CCS has introduced the TH2-CR series of flat light units with a camera window which provide light from the same axis as the camera. The wide emitting surface combines wide-field imaging with highly uniform illumination, making these new lights an attractive alternative to coaxial and dome lights.
A new 3-CMOS area scan camera combines the accuracy of prism-based optics with the image quality provided by Sony Pregius IMX265 colour sensors. The prism separates incoming light into red, green and blue wavelengths, which are directed onto the three precisely-aligned sensors. This allows the JAI APEX AP-3200T-USB to deliver better colour fidelity and spatial precision than traditional Bayer colour cameras.
The new Teledyne DALSA Piranha4 Polarization line scan camera represents a breakthrough in machine vision by revealing non-visible properties of materials that cannot be detected with conventional imaging. With three independent polarisation detection channels, this innovative camera enables high-speed, real-time detection of birefringence, stress, surface roughness, film thickness, and other physical properties.
The versatile Vico DTCM series of bi-telecentric lenses are designed for high accuracy machine vision measurements. The modular design allows object side and image side lens components to be combined into more than 200 specific lenses to meet an enormous range of imaging requirements.

Teledyne DALSA’s new Linea 16k CLHS line scan camera is the first in the Linea range to utilise the high data transmission CLHS interface. 2 GByte/sec data throughput using a single CX4 cable with long transmission distances and cable flexibility, and an outstanding line rate up to 71 kHz, allow even higher inspection throughput to be achieved. Application areas include pharmaceutical labels and print inspection and flat panel display, printed circuit board and electronic component inspection.
